HORA - STANDARD C-408. Ultra compact single band FM {shirt pocket sized} transceiver. Frequency range 70 cms amateur band 430-439.995, extendable, can be programmed to 200-500 Mhz, so taking in most, if not all, the PMR bands , plus the public service operators. May only be 230mW but could be used with a small linear 230mW in 5 watts out! More features on this handy than many full sized units, 20 memories, 41 hours from 2 x AA cells, CTCSS, Scan, Search, comes with full operating manual as downloaded from the web, over 40 pages. I am starting just below the recommended today’s valve as shown in Rig Guide. The paperwork being 40 pages has slightly emphasised on the postal rate so please bear this in mind.
