I always received great reports and the radio performed very well for me over the years. The top cabinet has a small chip taken out of the finish and some very small light scratches. Those are the only comsetic defects. Mechanically, the dial lock toggle switch does not engage. Everything else works as you would expect. Comes with the SM-2 microphone. The microphone, at times, does not key when pressing the PTT. I suspect it is the microswitch or contact wear. Does not happen all the time, just annoying when it does. Should be an easy fix. The original hand microphone does not do this so I know it to be the SM-2. The receive pre-amp is nice to dig out the weak ones. i never found a need to use it since it was only Sporadic-E that I tended to work. Box, manual, power cord, schematics in very nice condition too. This was a top of the line single-mode 6 meter transceiver in it's time, don't let this one get away. NO RESERVE.
