This is a NEW factory wound 1000 foot roll of 24 AWG SOLID ( not stranded!) Silverplated Copper wire with Teflon (.010 in./.25mm) insulation. The roll is blue. There is a splice at 870 feet. Military spec MIL-W-16878E TYPE E Rated at 200 degrees C and 600 volts These rolls are Alpha/Belden# 2854 Hey you can spend the same money for tin plated copper in corrosive PVC insulation, so stop screwing around and use top shelf wire on your next project.
