Amplifier and power supply just disconnected from Ham Bench. Clean and smoke free enviroment. The Amplifier has not had heavy usage. Information I have is right out of the manuel I did search the internet and there is complete information in detail out there on this amplifier w/ powe supply. rugged devices. The ALS-600 uses four rugged RF power FET devices. Fast warmpup time. No vacuum tubes to warm up. No tune operation, Tuning adjustments are not necessary. A simle one know selector switch permits operation on frequencies between 1.5 and 22 MHz. ALC protection The output and reflected powers are monitored and control the exciter ALC voltage. This helps prevent damage to the amplifier. Front panel ALC control, Load Error Protection, Illuminated pwer /SWR meter Operate/Standby Switch, Transimit and ALC indicator LED's, 12 vold auxiliary jack, Thermal Overload protection, compact size 6"Hx9.5W/12"D weights 12.5 lbs. Power Supply Multi-voltage heavy duty transformer, Choke input filtering, Step-start circuit, Current and output voltage metering. This supply will safely provide the power required to operat the ALS-600 in typical continous amateur service at 600 watt ouput levels. The high voltage seciton supplies approximately 60 volts no load and 50 volts at a load current of 20 amperes.
