ITEM: Homemade ham equipment with variable capacitor and inductor DESCRIPTION: For sale is some sort of homemade tuner or adapter for ham radio equipment – you folks will know a lot more about this than I do. It is built in the case for a Sorensen power supply (no power supply components included). As the photos show, it includes a large air variable capacitor (approx. 7 in by 3 ½ in), a variable inductor with a counter (approx 5 in. of coil on a 2 in. diameter porcelain core), and a smaller air variable capacitor (approx. 4 ½ in. long). The tape under the coil handle is marked "10 to 450". I do not know the ratings on any of these items. There are also a couple of relays, a 0-20 micro-ampere meter and a swr power meter.
