SWAN 500C/SS-16B SPECIAL transceiver. This is a basic transceiver covering 80-10 meters (no WARC bands) with 500 watts PEP output on SSB and 360 watts on CW. NO AM operation is possible due to the special steep skirted (16 pole) filter, which makes this the SS-16B model. This is a TECH SPECIAL. The receiver does not work and the transmitter has low output (60 watts). No attempt has been made to repair this unit, other than to check for normal voltage values. It is complete and in good physical condition. There is wear around the RF/AF gain knob. All switches and controls operate normally. Includes original Operation and Maintenance manual with schematic and parts list. Also includes Shure 404C mic with Swan adapter box.
