It is a well built and solid rig but rather elderly now, it would be ideal as a natter box for the local repeater or even as a beginners set, it has all of the basic functions that it did do well, but by modern standards it could exactly be described as "all singing and dancing" more humming and foot tapping!!! Some years ago i did respray the outer covers and this is now a little marked, the photos dont do it justice as i am no David Bailey with a camera, the channel knob is grubby but not as marked as the picture suggests.
