These LED's are manufactured by LEDTRONICS with Part No. BLK200TR6-3V . They are in a red diffused package and flash bright red in colour at approx 1 to 2 pulses per second. These leds make a very obvious warning or display feature and would be particularly good used as an alarm warning led ( real or fake ). THESE LEDS HAVE A BUILT IN RESISTOR AND WILL WORK OFF ANY DC VOLTAGE BETWEEN 3V AND 15V. I HAVE ACTUALLY TESTED ONE UPTO 15V WITHOUT DAMAGING IT AND WITHOUT USING ANY EXTERNAL SERIES RESISTOR. What about using them on your model airplane for that authentic landing light effect. The photograph obviously does not show the flashing effect but just connect up to ANY battery between 3V to 12V( including car battery ) and away they go, flashing until the battery is exhausted.
