I called the number attached to the units and spoke with a tech from Compact Automations, which purchased Compact Air Products, a few years back and since changed the name. He stated these pistons were custom made for $ 840 each (both $1680). I understood, these are very similar to SFH158x512, pistons they sell. I also understood these have a 5.5" stoke, and have a 5/8" piston, and are designed as a double piston unit (they can pull as well as push) These were also designed to be used in either an AIR and/or Hydraulic system and are multi-power pistons. He stated under the air side the PSI should be around 250 and less and under the Hydraulic side the PSI should be around 500 or less. He also stated the Model # is QJ85-285-B ** All items have their make, model and serial number recorded for use as we see fit, as also a tool in fraud prevention, in returns.
