501 MHz. Antenna, Quarter Wave Ground Plane. Phelps Dodge Communications Co. PDCC Catalog No. 128. I played with one of these on a network analyzer. You can reset it to the 450 MHz ham band by substituting longer ground rods for the ones provided. You need a couple of inches longer (4 ea.). Available at most hardware stores. These things are built like a tank. Looks like they would survive a huricane. Connection is to an "N" type pigtail. They come with complete mounting hardware. 17 lbs.
