“SAMPLE” will not appear on the print you purchase ... it is only on the scanned image.
This is an Original Print, meaning that this is the actual page carefully removed from a vintage Collectors Series Antique Equipment Calendar, not a cheap copy. It has a calendar month printed on the reverse side. This print has a wide white border around all 4 sides of the print, with text printed below the image.
The documentation at the bottom of this print reads: “The Galion Iron Works of Galion, Ohio was perhaps the most prolific manufacturer of pull graders. The Galion Standard No. 14 pictured here was first offered around 1930, and was the largest pull grader the company offered. Weighing almost 12,000 pounds and featuring a 14-foot blade, the Standard No. 14 sold for about $2,000 new.” Usually pulled by a crawler tractor, these pull graders were used to maintain existing roads as well as building new ones. Mounted on steel wheels, the operator in a standing position controlled the grader by manually turning a series of geared wheels ... no seat, no hydraulics, no convenience of any kind ... this was when a days work was a long and hard day!
Quality of this calendar print is mint, like new, printed on excellent quality paper.
