A litte history about the set. I got it from my dad who probably used it no more than 20 times in 30 years. So practically everything looks new except for the aging color on the brass and hoses. The hoses do not have any cracks in the rubber. I have not used it because I have both a large and small set of torches already. It is possible that, after sitting around for so many years that the gauges could need some internal servicing. I know my set that I store every winter gets a gauge diaphram flutter sometimes until I use it a couple of times in the summer. I have only had to service my gauges once since l972 and that was in 1978 when they were almost new. My son used the set six years ago and I remember him saying a gauge didn't work too well, meaning the diaphram fluttered. It is also possible that, if used a number of times, the diaphram flutter will subside as mine does.
