This is the Classic Heathkit HW-8 QRP 4 Band Transceiver. Covers the lower 250 KHz of the 80, 40, 20 and 15 Meter Amateur Radio Bands. Power Output is approxiamately 2 Watts on each band. I personally performed an alignment on this very nice piece of Ham Radio equipment. The VFO is tracking perfectly. I also replaced the final power transistor with a brand new 2SC799. Very nicely assembled. Not to mention, no extra holes drilled through it with all sorts of modifications. It even has the original RCA phono plug for the antenna.
The HW-8 Radio, the matching AC power supply (it also has new electrolytic filter caps), an extra DC power cord for using with your 12 volt battery while operating portable, the assembly manual, a RCA to SO-239 adapter and extra large prints of the schematic.
This radio was sold by Heathkit back in the 1970s so it's 30 or more years old. That being said, I can honestly tell you the radio is a good 9 out of 10 in physical condition. Just a few minor paint scratches but nothing serious.
