Parts lot for John Deere hit and miss gas engine. Included in this lot is an original side cover for a 1 1/2 HP engine. It says "Manufactured by John Deere Tractor Company, Waterloo, Iowa." The brass serial tag is on it. Also included is an original 1 1/2 head gasket which I believe could be used yet. Along with an original exhaust valve spring, speed changing knurled nut and post, and a push rod with an ignitor trip. The only blemish I can see is that someone has built up the trip with some nickel weld. This could easily be ground to look original. Once your engine is painted, you'll be the only one to know. All of the parts are in excellent condition. If you're putting together a 1 1/2 Deere and need these parts, here's your chance. Good Luck.
