Brand New in boxes. A must for every mechanic, hobbiest, metalworker and fabrication shop. A famous "classic" handy tool that speeds the tapping and chasing of threads. Since conventional tap wrenches are large and symmetrical, it seems like there is ~always~ a hole you just can't get to, or can't tap without removing and replacing your tap handle 4 times for a single revolution of the tap. This tap ratchet solves that problem. It ratchets smoothly in both directions (reversible), and is also lockable to be rigid in both directions. The t-bar slips in and out of the barrel, so the T can be made to be assymetrical, giving you extra clearance in tight spots. A proven and robust design that is awesome quality made in Germany. This set I've put together for you includes the small and medium size Schröder tap ratchets. Each has a heat treated collet that will accept taps from 1/16" to 1/4" (1.0mm to 6.0mm) for the small size and 3/16" to 1/2" (4.6mm to 13mm) for the medium size. Larger and longer models are available on request. These handy tools will pay for themselves in a single use. Get them before you need them and save yourself a big headache. Besides taps, they are also invaluable for turning reamers and screw extractors, practically any hand-turned tool will work faster and easier with these ratchets.
