Locks the Stabilizer in the Down Position! Backhoes: Lock the stabilizer or outrigger on the down position. The Standard unit (18") fits all full sized backhoes except New Holland. Please specify Long (21") of ordering for a new Holland backhoe. Shorter versions are available and this product is also available in a changeable combination lock. Mini-Backhoes: (Almand, Bobcat, IR, John Deere, Kubota, and Terramite) may use the 12" or 15" length. Some backhoes (larger and standard size) may have cylinders larger than 2.5" in diameter. Please check for this equipment. We do NOT build custom sizes or lengths. (21", 18", 15", 12", 6.5" ONLY) Articulating Equipment: The Stabilizer Lock is available in a shorter version for the steering cylinder of articulating equipment. The length for articulating loaders and dump trucks is 12 or 15 inches. Articulating trencher steering cylinder is typically 6.5 inches. Please specify what length when ordering for these machines. Some larger articulating equipment may have cylinders larger that 2.5" in diameter. Please check for this equipment. We do not build custom sizes or lengths. (21", 18", 15", 12", 6.5" ONLY) Dozer, mini-excavator and trencher blades: This device may also be used to lock a dozer blade (12" or 15") and/or mini excavator and trencher back-fill blade (6.5") in the down position. Ruff-Terrain Scissor Lift and Man-Lift: The Stabilizer Lock may also be used for the steering cylinder of ruff-terrain scissor lifts and man-lifts. Lengths may vary based on you equipment. Please check your equipments length needed when one steering cylinder is completely out. All Stabilizer Locks are available in a changeable combination lock. Also Available for Articulating Equipment Steering Prior to turning off the engine of your equipment, place both stabilizers in the down position lifting the wheels slightly off the ground. (Alternative to keeping pressure on the cylinders is to dig a small hole for the stabilizer to be lowered into.) For articulating equipment, turn the wheels completely in one direction.
