This is due to the BT-35 Taper Tool Holder, High-Torque Spindle, and Hardened and Ground Box Ways. Kitamura has over 70 years of experience in Machining Center technology. Kitamura Vertical Machining Centers are very popular in the industry, due to their many standard performance features and components, that other manufacturers charge for and consider options. ********************SPECIAL FEATURES************************************ This machine has a Fanuc upgrade on the control. I am told it cost the previous owner over $7000.00 to install this feature. The computer hooked to the machine will allow the user to infinatly DNC to the control. While this is not a big deal on new machines, it was for a Fanuc 3M. The buffer inside of the control has additional capacity. For this reason you will not have program storage in the control. All programs but the one you are running are stored in the PC. The PC in the photo has software on it to allow program file maintance and DNC. The previous owner used it for mold repair work. *************************************************************************** ********************REASON FOR SELLING**************** This machine is being sold to make way for new equipment. We are sad to see this one leave as it is in really good shape for the age of the machine. I have listed above everything I know about the machine. We used it mostly for material preperation. The tool changer works very well. The toolchanger has metal springs that hold the tools in place. Three of these need to be replaced, they are missing.
