These micrometer heads are designed for operating an X-Y stage (such as a Toolmakers microscope stage) but can be used on any type of fixture. The scales on this pair of heads are orientated to provide ease of reading when installed on a X-Y stage. The two heads were removed from their factory sealed plastic bags for inspection (as we do with all tools) prior to listing them. Retail price for each micrometer head is $269.00!
