This machine is similar to the Talking House unit that provides a continuous-loop playback of a digitally recorded message on any frequency in the AM broadcast band. It works well, recording a message with the built in microphone and transmitting it continuously to a nearby AM receiver. Seems to be in excellent condition but the tuning mechanism is lazy and sometimes hunts for its setting. The motor-driven autotune function is controlled by up/down panel buttons and moves tuning slugs... but it doesn’t always come to rest at the desired setting. It’s easy enough to adjust it manually to a given frequency in the AM band, but control from the front panel isn’t reliable. The idea, I think, would be to set it once and forget it. Digital panel display shows output frequency. Rear connections are provided for wire antenna (supplied), control lock key (supplied), remote antenna selection, F connector for remote antenna, speaker on/off, RCA Direct and Aux inputs and Power from the wall wart (supplied).
