The Prelub â„¢ starter system is a diesel engine prelubrication system that has been independently proven to reduce engine wear by up to 60%. It is the only engine prelubrication system that automatically builds engine oil pressure before the engine is allowed to crank, preventing engine wear and extending the life of the engine. It can extend engine life 15% to 35%. It also insures a "no oil, no start" safety feature. This specific kit contains all of the following items: 24V Starter part # 100180 rotates Clockwise, Oil pressure switch, Automatic timer assembly, nose cone gasket, all required wiring harnesses, decals, installation instructions, and a wiring schematic. This starter should fit a variety of different Caterpillar diesel engines. It has the three bolt flange that can be rotated 360 degrees, and has the straight teeth for straight tooth flywheels.
