This kind of led bulbs are fully sealed with a front lens cover which is a great advantage over all other suppliers as most others have the leds exposed, the advantage here is they are not effected by the moisture, climate, water, salty air, etc. Less Power Consumption(about 1/8 of Halogen) Only uses 180ma and gives a compared light output of a 20W style halogen, so if you comapare the power usage 1 x 20 LED MR16 = 180mA (light comparison to 20W halogen but white and no heat) 1 x 36 LED MR16 = 360mA (light comparison to 35W halogen but white and no heat) If you are replacing a 50w halogen with our 20 LEDs MR16 well its a even bigger saving as a 50w halogen draws average 4166ma, So we only recommend our 38 LEDs. Or a lower cost 20 LEDs version. · This is a huge power saving even if you have only want to replace in your caravan etc. It is also great for boat, cars, caravans, solar houses, 4WD, etc. Anything were you need a good light but worried about power usage. It decrease costs of electric by up to 90% . The LEDed bulbs generate very minimal heat out put, if you have ever tried removing a halogen globe after 1 second of operation you will know what I mean (they are hot) though with LEDs you can have them on all day long and can remove by hand no problems as LEDeds run a lot cooler.
