Tektronix TDS420 Stand alone Digital Oscilloscope, 150MHz,100MSa/s, 4ch The TDS420 Digital Oscilloscope is a superb tool for displaying and measuring waveforms. The TDS420 addresses the needs of both benchtop lab and portable applications. The TDS420 Digital Storage Oscilloscope features 150 MHz bandwidth, 100 MS/s sampling rate on 4 channels, 4 digitizers, a sensitivity of 1 mV to 10 V/div (with calibrated fine adjust) and 25 automatic measurements. The Tektronix TDS420 oscilloscope is a graph-displaying device - it draws a graph of an electrical signal. In most applications, the graph shows how signals change over time: the vertical (Y) axis represents voltage and the horizontal (X) axis represents time. The intensity or brightness of the display is sometimes called the Z axis.
