BMI NiteLogger radio scanner tape recorder activator This device can be used on any other device that has an external speaker output. It uses a 1/8" mini jack to route the sound to the NiteLogger. Or, if you're electronically inclined, alligator clips can be used to piggyback on any speaker. I am the original owner and have the original receipt (it cost $75.00). It includes the AC adapter, the original manual and I am also including a cassette recorder (Radio Shack Cat 26-1208A) that was used with this device, although almost any recorder can be used.
