Here is a very clean and functional Heathkit IT-28 In Circuit Capacitor Checker. It has the capability of checking capacitors both in and out of circuit and checks for leakage, shorts, opens, and will identify the value of an unknown capacitor. It also has a resistance bridge function and will test and identify resistor values. This model was the latest Heathkit produced prior to going out of the kit business. This piece of very useful and sought after test equipment is in very good cosmetic condition. The front panel is extremely clean and all of the original control knobs are present and operate smoothly. The front panel has only slight signs of use. The aluminum cabinet shows only slight signs of use such as a few rub marks and small paint chips. The green eye tube is bright and has a lot of life left, the other tubes tested as new. I have tested this item and it is functional in all modes. The original assembly manual is included. Test leads are not included. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
