It's a 1000-channel handheld conventional scanner with a continuous receiving range of 0.5-1300MHz, NO gaps! You can select AM, FM, and W-FM modes on any frequency, which allows you to hear pretty much anything that transmits, even WWV world-time. Those of you who are Mil-Com enthusiasts will appreciate AM reception on the 300MHz band to monitor Military aircraft. It has a selectable attenuator, a tuneable VFO, and a backlit LCD display.
