Fully working Dawe Instruments Ltd Sound Level Meter Type 1405C. The range is from 40 to 120 dB with fast in and slow out. This is the type that you see on news reports when the reporters are measuring background noise etc. The unit takes a No 412 22.5v battery (new one needed) available from places like Maplins. The meter comes in a blue lined, leather case, the stitching is good, the case is firm, the leather has 'cracked' where the case opens (hinge) and a little 'tatty' in places, but will not fall apart. The unit comes complete with Dawe Acoustic Calibrator, Type 1418A. This works on a standard 9V battery and also comes in a custom made leather case which is in an excellent condition.
