This is a vintage advertising brochure dated December 1913. It is titled “The Modern Farm Hand†and measures 18†x 12â€. It advertises using dynamite blasting to clear land for farming and other uses by means of DuPont Red Cross Dynamite. There are pictures of people dressed in styles of the day and the flyer claims of more profitable land use. The business owner was Howard H. Barnett of Pontiac, MI. The brochure was designed to be folded in fourths and mailed with a 1 cent stamp, with space for the recipient's address. Printed in black and white with red borders and some red lettering.
