8' x 12' Truck-Grade Utility Tarp This is our 8' x 12' UTILITY Tarp. We've started to make these because some truckers wanted to try a small, inexpensive tarp made of our material before investing in much larger tarps. Also, we've had many inquiries for smaller tarps for farm and commercial use (while Truckers are sick of the super heavy vinyl tarps, non-truckers are sick of those horrible plastic "poly" tarps)..... * reinforced webbing and grommets on perimeter at 18" to 24" spacing * color: Made out of some our best available material in Olive Green OR Olive Brown which is not shown. Has a superb urethane waterproof coating on the inside. We make these in our factory at LIGHTweightTARPS.com out of a high strength, lightweight coated Cordura Nylon Material. The material is best described as what you see in heavy duty back-packs, duffle bags, and luggage. These tarps are lighter and stronger than the heavy 18 oz vinyl tarps common in the industry, and you will love how they fold up in the cold. You won't find anyone else making truck tarps out of this material, because when they investigate pricing of the raw material it's simply way too high. We are specialists at finding surplus lots of this material from textile manufacturers throughout the world, and that's how we can sell them at these prices. All stitching is of "Lock-Stitch" type, which is far superior to cheaper tarps with chain stitching (unravels when severed). Furthermore, our stitching machines have new computer controlled back-stitching controllers, so every foot or so we reverse for an inch, than back again, which gives a triple stitch connection which NOBODY else does in the industry.
