Own one of the best radios ever made!
Here is your chance to get one of the best mid-range rigs with many extra-cost items at a great savings over the new cost. This equipment with extras was purchased about 2 years ago at a cost of over $3000. This is the 200-Watt model with a separate power supply (included). It can be operated on 13.8 vdc, or, with the power supply 100-120vac or 220-240vac.
In addition to the standard Mark V (I won't go into all the specs here, they are readily available on the internet, try this address: http://www.va3cr.net/ for all the information you would want to know) you will get the following:
contains audio filters to enhance received audio
- Extra selectivity filters YF110SN and YF114SN
these give an intermediate narrow bandwidth of 2.0 khz so that all the filter positions available are 6.0khz, 2.4khz, 2.0khz, and 500hz
- A very important mod from INRAD.. the front-end noise reduction mod which amplifies the front end signal allowing a reduction of the amplification level in the radio which has the effect of enhancing low-strength signals and lowering the background noise (more information available at the INRAD website)
- FH-1 Remote Keypad.. this allows a lot of functions to be accessed via a small remote keypad, so you can sit back, relax and tune the radio!
- DVS-2 Digital Voice Recorder.. can function as an instant receive recorder which will allow you to record another person's signal and transmitting it back to him giving him first-hand what his signal sounds like. Also, you can record announcements, etc, and transmit them at will, for instance you can call CQ without having to say it over and over, or use in a contest situation to save saying the same thing repeatedly.
