For sale today is a Ford 9n tractor for parts. In my opinion this tractor is a little too far along for restoration or repair. I've done several of these and this one looks like parts to me. Some parts are missing, including: grill, carburetor, lower 3pt arms and links, air cleaner, starter and generator. There may be other items missing, check the photos closely, everything for sale is in the photos. Included are an extra long block (used), manifold (cracked near the pipe mount), tool box, disassembled distributor, upper lift arms, used radiator, and a used hydraulic pump. I don't know too much about this tractor but I will tell you what I do know. Engine in the tractor is marked 8n and does turn over with some compression on some cylinders. Parts engine also is free. Sheet metal is pretty much bad, but the upper hood might be saved with some work. Transmission shifts into all gears and the clutch operates as does the pto. Rear axle is free and brake linkages operate. No idea on the hydraulic pump in the tractor. The other one is free. I have not seen the gears, but the castings all look good. Oil is in the engine and trans. Good points are: Steering gear and most steering components, deluxe seat(needs one rubber dampner), running boards, links and pedals, 3pt control, rims might make it but rears don't match, hubs look good, one good front tire. Don't know about radiators or fuel tank.
