this is the 4/12/58 issue of the Holstein World featuring special tribute issue to the great Dunloggin Herd.Most of issue is dedicated to the great Dunloggin breeding program with feature stories and many breeder tribute ads to Dunloggin.There is probably no other magazine or book with more information on the Great Dunloggin herd than this World issue.Feature stories include - "Dunloggin After The Years" The 13 page story with many pictures by WM Prescott of the indepth story of the Dunloggin breeding program. - "Dunloggin Fond Memories" 6 page story on the forming of Dunloggin,the naming of Dunloggin,the reasons for dispersing,the days leading up to the sale,the sale itself, and days after the sale with many pictures and great memories. - "Dunloggin Bulls Now In AI Studs" The story with picture - "Naming At Dunloggin" How names were given to the herd. - "Pennsylvania Dunloggins" by RMM. - "Another Dunloggin 200,000lb cow" - "The Influence Of Dunloggin Blood-Line In The Maryland artificial Breeding Stud" - "Dunloggin Continued" Story on various herds that are dedicated to Dunloggin breeding.The front and back cover are loose and a bit tatered,the pages of the issue are very nice except at some point the bottom corner of the issue got damp and the bottom corners of pages are a little wrinkled from drying out.thank you.
