I am selling a John Deere model A tractor with no reserve. It is an all fuel model. It is styled and I believe it to be a 1939 or 1940 model. I do not know for sure because I cannot read the serial number. The tractor does not run, but the motor is free. It has the high and low transmission and cast rear rims. It has a 12.4-38 on one side and a 13.6-38 on the other . The one front tire is in bad shape, but does hold air. The other is fairly new and is in good condition. The rears have decent tread, but have wheather cracking. The tractor is missing the carburator, the front nose cap, the generator, the battery box cover, and the bottom pan of the oil bath air cleaner. The muffler is also rotted off. The sheet metal is decent, but does have a few dings. This would make an excellent parts tractor or restoration project. Please email with questions or to arrange a viewing.
