This is an old Ford Select o Speed that I bought not to long ago to restore. I am selling it because I dont have the time right now to complete it. I love the way it starts you hit the button and it goes without hesitation. The motor starts fast and runs smoothly with some smoke. It has a 12 volt system and an alternator conversion. The paint is rough and chipped and and needs to be redone. The sheet metal needs to be worked on as well. The tires are at the end of their life. The turning brakes turn on a dime both ways. The pto runs but it wont shut off when I pull the lever. The three point work perfectly, it will adjust minutely both directions and has an adjustable stop. The select o speed clutch needs work, remember this is a select o speed shifting system, not the 801 four speed. Most of the gears work but a few are slipping, it seem to work better when it is hot, so expect some clutch work to be done in the future. The fuel tank may need some work as well. I have been dragging the lot with it all summer and it does the job fine. This looks like it would be a fun project to do and wil be a good tractor and collectable.
