Up for sale is a brand new durable stainless steel wire guage and conduit caliber tool. The function of this tool is to determine the correct size cable or wire you may be dealing with in the field. Also, this slim and compact tool will calculate the conduit or pipe you also may encounter, but unsure of its correct size. The following is a bit more discriptive account of the overall parameters of this wonderful and time saving tool. For stranded commercial cable its range is from 0 to 2000 MCM. For solid wire (AWG) its range is from 0 to 4/O. For ACSR its range is from 0 to 336.4, a guage hardly used here in the United States. For Thin Wall Conduit or EMT its range is from 3/8 to 2 1/2 inches. For Rigid Conduit & CU Pipe its range is from 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches. On the opposite side of the tool there is an additional "Conversion Table". This chart will basically calculate for you all types and sizes of wire, cable tube, and bar. To sum it all up, this device takes the guess work out of identifying the proper wire size so that you can make decisions in the field about proper uses of bugs, bus bars, and other applications where needed.
