Living in Costa Rica and looking for a ham radio? This is your chance... The radio was recently serviced at Comtek, in Washington State. They completed a check and tune up, so I am confident that it works per specification. The history, to my knowledge is as follows. It was owned by a ham who purchased the radio from his brother who had had it for a couple years. He purchased the radio from another amateur operator, who informed him that the radio had been used as an aircraft mobile by the civil air patrol. The radio apparently been modified to operate on all frequencies. I believe, though not guaranteed that this radio can be used for MARS and on the new 60 meter band. (I've never tried either) The interior is in mint condition and includes the FL-30 SSB filter and the FL-32A CW narrow filter. From an appearance perspective, the radio is very clean. Some minor scratches can be seen on the side where the mobile mount has been attached. One machine bolt for the mobile bracket has been lost and replace with a flat head machine screw. The top and the bottom are very good and unabused. The face is in excellent condition and includes the elusive and often missing smoke colored, bottom hinging door, revealing the vertical slide controls for fine tuning various aspects of the functions. TX - 10 - 160 Meters + WARC + MARS ? RX - .1 - 30 MHZ (This transceiver is also a communication receiver) OUTPUT - 10- 100 Watts (10-40 in AM VOLTAGE - 13.8 VDC (Power Supply included) IC-735 comes with operators manual, mic, mobile bracket and pigtail to hookup to power supply. If you want to read the operators manual as part of due diligence you can down load a copy at http:// /icom/ic735_manual.zip MFJ-941E (tuner) and MFJ-4322 (power supply) both in excellent condition.
