This unit came from the T.B. Woods Company in Chambersburg, PA. It has been fitted with a 1 HP - 110/220 VAC Electric motor and is belt driven. Speed reduction is provided through a 3 Speed Automobile Transmission, with a brake and shift lever. The unit was made in the USA by Lodge & Davis Machine Tool Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, probably in the late 1800's. It has a geared Headstock with a selection of extra gears. Many other parts are included, including a 15" Chuck and others as shown in the photos, along with other attachments. A Grinder attachment is also included, as shown in photos provided. The overall dimensions are as follows: 88" in Length: 52" in Width; 76" in Height. Weight is estimated at 2,000 - 2,500 LBS.
