The bit is not a tapered shaft, it is just solid round, one inch in diameter. The bits are 8 inches long. Stamped on the side of them is: I recently bought out the contents of a factory that moved out of state and just left everything in place. They are a major manufacturer of hydraulic pumps and motors. They bought all new equipment so they didn't have a break in production while they moved stuff.
